Moving beyond the niche of only catering to Tesla vehicles, this version is a beacon for inclusivity, catering to a vast array of electric cars, as long as they are equipped with the CCS charging interface.

This new generation of Superchargers, which have already been embraced by European locales like the Netherlands and Germany, showcases a feature in the UK variant that sets it apart: a user-centric display and a frictionless payment method. This integration is in line with the recent governmental pushes to ensure a more intuitive and transparent charging experience for EV users. The display is meticulously crafted to offer users insights into the per-kWh charging costs. The payment procedure is equally seamless, offering the flexibility of either using a QR code via the Tesla app or a quick tap with their credit or debit card on the dedicated point-of-sale system.

Tesla, being ever-committed to delivering top-notch performance, emphasizes that the V4 Supercharger is no slouch, mirroring the impressive 250kW energy output that was a hallmark of its V3 predecessor. Such power means impressive charging feats, like powering a Tesla Model Y from a completely drained state to 80% in a span close to 30 minutes. While Tesla has hinted at the future potential for even more rapid charging capabilities, the specifics remain a closely guarded secret for now.
